About the studio

Northline was started in 2019 by two designers who had spent a decade in larger agencies and wanted to do fewer things properly. We design brand identities, product interfaces and printed matter. We do not do advertising campaigns, social media management or SEO.

We are deliberately small. Being two people means the person you brief is the person who does the work, and it means we say no to more projects than we take on.

Principles

Type before decoration. Systems before one-offs. Files that outlive the engagement. Honest estimates, including the parts that are hard to estimate.
